Trouble with your squat form?

"About three months ago, after a rotator cuff injury I purchased the Top Squat. I'm glad to say that, thanks to the Top Squat, I was able to continue squatting with substantial weight while my injury healed. I'm writing both to express my appreciation of the device and underscore a benefit not emphasized in your description of it.

The Top Squat is a great aid for someone like myself who loves to squat, wants to maximize the effect on my legs, but can't do so because of terrible squat form. Thanks to a wide powerlifting stance, I'm able to lift heavy poundage, but my form resembles a good-morning exercise, with most of the work occurring in my hips and lower back.  However, the Top Squat has changed all that: it has allowed me to have a more upright position, put greater stress on my legs, and bang out more reps because my body is less strained from having to fight to stay upright. As a result, my quads have ached after a Top Squat workout as they never have with regular squatting.

I'm soon going to be putting the power squat back into my routine, but will continue to use the Top Squat for a real leg workout. I suggest that you let potential customers know that in addition to being a great help in working around shoulder injuries, anyone with poor squatting form will benefit greatly from the Top Squat!" ...Gerald Coles
