LAREE'S TOP PICKS"Top" in my web lingo refers to content dense sites I go back to on a regular basis. I really appreciate the sites we've got listed on our link review pages - they're terrific. But there aren't that many that I visit often. These top picks get updated with new material consistently and I find I don't want to miss the new info. Each one highly recommended.

ExRx Online - Exercise Instruction & Structural Kinesiology - Here's a link to keep handy, like, forever. Next time you don't know how to do an exercise or can't figure out what muscle you're working, drop on by ExRx for a painless answer. |
Physique Engineering Technologies - A visit here will reward you with a well-rounded bushel of information ranging from how to design a workout routine to how to select or reject a food supplement. Site owner Hugo Rivera's an active member of our email discussion group, where we all appreciate his generosity in helping beginners with their workout questions. You're in good hands here, promise. |
Cyberpump - My new favorite site (besides ours of course, I didn't need to add that did I?). Think this one may hold this position for a while. Hard to bump with this much stuff going on. It's got a drop dead design, content variety, history, depth and humor - really... got it all. After you get your bearings, the best way to find the good stuff is buried in the search style button bar at the bottom of each page. Go when you've got some time to spare. You're gonna need it. |
Clarence Bass' RIPPED site- Those of you who know Clarence from the Muscle & Fitness columns he wrote will remember him for, well, being LEAN. His site is packed with information to help you get ripped... regularly updated and philosophically right on. |
Muscle Memory - Here's a site for the history buffs. It's a comprehensive collection of bodybuilding contest results, male and female, beginning in 1930. The site has full search capabilities by year, contest or contestant name, along with an article on history of the Mr. America contest. I don't visit this for its updates, but I like to have it handy as a research tool. If you need muscle history, it's here. |
