Nutrition Software
Frank asks, "Can anyone recommend a decent
(basic) software program for tracking your diet?"
I know of an on-line program that is free,
and lets you track not only your nutrition, but your training
also! The place to find active log is Activelog.com.
Let me know what you think of it.... Annette
And from Wendy:
I have friends who use Dietwatch.com
which is also online and free. I just surfed over to check
it out. It seems pretty basic but, hey, it's free!
I use Healthrunr.com.
It's available for download at around $65 I think. I got
it for free though, because I was a beta tester. It's not
a bad program, it has virtually every food in it, and lets
you choose daily targets/percentages that you'd like to
reach in terms of your food intake. It's a bit cumbersome
to start up but, overall, it's a good tool (when I remember/have
patience enough to use it). Wendy
And from Susan:
I have been using Crosstrainer
by Innovative Logic. It is a very good program for
a reasonable price. It has a diet/nutrition component, but
also allows for weight training and aerobic tracking. Hope
that helps. Susan
