You're talking about my favorite exercise here.
1.
For most folks 200 x 5 equates to about a 225 max. 1.5 times bodyweight
is very achievable. You can do this within a year if you make the
bench press your priority exercise.
2.
Hand spacing should be such that when the bar is across your chest
your forearms are exactly perpendicular to the ground.
3.
As far as where you bring the bar down to, that will have to be
done with experimentation. Each person has their unique "groove"
in which the most power is generated.
