EMAIL PROGRAM FILTERING INSTRUCTIONS

If your incoming email server will allow the email volume, individual email messages, as opposed to the digest version, are easier to read, scan and respond - they have more personality. Yet if you use your computer for work, or have other important incoming email, the IronOnline messages might get in the way. Using your email program's filtering tools will move all your incoming IronOnline email automatically to a separate inbox, unseen until you're in an Iron mood.

Setting up the filters turned out to be quite easy - only took a couple of minutes. Here's how.

MICROSOFT OUTLOOK98:

From the bar across the top, select "ORGANIZE"

A new bar comes up, "Ways to Organize inbox"

Select top line, "USING FOLDERS"

Select, "Create a rule to move new messages"

Select "CREATE" button to create "IronOnline" inbox

Select "NEW" and type IronOnline in the "name" box

Then, tap "Rules Wizard" button at the top, right-hand side

Tap "NEW" to create

Press "NEXT" to "check messages when they arrive"

Scroll down to "Specific words in the SUBJECT or body"

Put a check in the box to the left of that line

In the lower box, click on "Specific words" and type the letters IOL in the text line

Press OK

Press NEXT

Put a check mark in the box to the left of the line "move it to a specified folder"

In the lower box, click on the word "Specified"

Highlight the folder "IronOnline"

Press OK

Press NEXT

Press NEXT again

Press FINISH

Press OK to close box

Done, filter should work unless "IOL" was not entered in the correct places, or if it was spelled wrong

Double click on the new folder [IronOnline] just created.
