Testosterone NationPer Rebecca: not for the easily offended, but this is probably my absolute favorite site of all time for bodybuilding/fitness and everything related. It's definitely guy run but there are more than a few T-Vixens out there :) Warning though: if you want to use the forums, make sure you've searched the site before you post a question because things get repeated a lot that you could easily find first. Other than that, go ahead and post, they're a pretty responsive bunch. I just had dinner with several of the NoVa folks and it was FABULOUS.... Rebecca

Cheaper micro-load weightsLink from Chris: For those of you who want to microload, but don't want to pay the huge price for micro-precise plates. Type in "washers" in the "find" field, scroll down to "flat washers" and you can select from a variety of diamater and materials.
I chose Part Number 91081A046, Plain Steel USS Flat Washer 2" Sz, 2-1/8" ID, 4-1/2" OD,.153" Min Thk, Aprx 8/Pk, $ 9.10 per Pack
This item is only sold in Packs of 5 Lb.--They come 8 in a 5 lb. pack. I weighed all mine on a kitchen scale, in pairs, and all of them came to 1.25 lb. per pair. More sophisticated instruments would probably indicate an imbalance, but my arms and legs have no such accuracy.
